Brett King was recently honored as the Innovator of the Year by American Banker magazine.

Brett was chosen first above the other candidates due to his maverick idea(s) in the banking industry: developing a new scoring system, CRED, that uses social media as part of your credit score.

In 2010, Brett King published Bank 2.0 - it topped amazon.com's bestseller lists in the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Canada and Japan; spending more than 75 weeks in the top 10 globally.

Later this year, Brett will release his follow up, Bank 2.1. A few months ago, he published his ebook, Branch Today, Gone Tomorrow, which is trending #1 in Banking on amazon.com since publication.

This summer, his direct mobile bank Movenbank will open for business.

Brett is a sought after expert on innovation, technology disruption and channel distribution strategy.
