Nice Bike… Making Connections That Move People
Mark Scharenbroich’s unconventional approach, knockout humor, and personal stories with universal appeal all focus on the relationship side of creating results. It is all about connecting people: management to front line, team member to team member, and company to customer. Research shows that performance improves dramatically when strong connections with others are built. Mark’s presentation helps organizations create a climate of connections that fosters a high level of performance.

Combine the timing of a stand-up comedian, the power of an inspirational speaker, the art of a story teller and you get Mark Scharenbroich. Mark uses laughter to open his listener’s minds and then moves them to action with messages aimed at the heart. Audiences learn the importance of working respectfully and collaboratively and gain a greater connection and sense of purpose in their work.

Part motivational speaker, part thought-provoker, and pure entertainer, Mark Scharenbroich delivers a don’t-miss event. He tells engaging stories, delivers powerful messages, and weaves in an ensemble cast of memorable characters. Plus, the guy is hilarious.

Mark’s "Nice Bike" principle (illustrated with a story which involves half-a-million Harley bikers, lots of black leather jackets, one beige rental car, and the sincere acknowledgement of what's really important) brings home the value of recognizing, validating and making connections that move people.

What can Mark Scharenbroich's “Nice Bike” principle do for your business?
• Improve employee engagement

• Enhance team collaboration
• Fuel the passion to serve others
• Create meaningful connections

Every keynote presentation is unique. Mark does his homework, gets to know you and your organization, and then customizes what he says to meet your needs and objectives.

About Mark Scharenbroich

His approach is unconventional, and he provides you with an unforgettable experience. Having performed in front of 3,500 audiences, Mark’s credentials include an Emmy award, induction into the National Speakers’ Association Hall of Fame, membership with the prestigious Speakers Roundtable, and several international film awards for writing and performing.

While earning a degree in mass communications at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, Mark wrote, directed and performed in a comedy troupe called Mom’s Apple Pie, which won the state talent competition after sharing the stage with a HUGE butter carving of Princess Kaye’s face and a prize 1527-pound Holstein named Elsie. The group performed together throughout the Midwest in the ’70s, and when it disbanded, Mark went solo and combined his comedy training with motivational speaking.

Soon thereafter, Mark was employed by Jostens—the leading manufacturer of class rings, yearbooks and graduation products—to speak to their customers throughout North America. In 1981 Mark was featured in a film called The Greatest Days of Your Life … (So Far), which was seen by over a million viewers worldwide. It earned him the Golden Apple and Silver Screen film awards. Mark became noted in education as a leading expert in the area of leadership and student engagement.

After he left Jostens to further develop his speaking career, Mark and his wife, Susan, founded Scharenbroich & Associates, Inc. Today, they've been married for 30 years and continue to partner together in the company, which serves business and education audiences internationally. They reside in their home state, the frozen tundra (except for three weeks in July) of Minnesota. They have three grown children and one adorable bulldog.

Currently, Mark is writing his first book about the principles of Nice Bike, which is titled (what else?) Nice Bike: Making Connections that Move People.
